Christine Rosholt represents a fresh voice in the world of jazz standards. With vocal inspiration from the likes of Diana Krall, Ella Fitzgerald, Sara Vaughn and Frank Sinatra, Christine approaches the great music from the 30s and 40s because, as she puts it, “they’re timeless.” Joined by her pianist Tanner Taylor, percussionist Jay Epstein, reed great Dave Karr and bassist Graydon Peterson, this hot swing quintet plays the great tunes with a moving energy and precision that is rarely heard.
